Mold in America

Privacy

How information is handled on this site.

Reports are public

No name, email or account is required to report. Reports, property locations, photos, replies and owner responses are intended for public viewing. What you post can identify you or others and can be copied. Share only material you are entitled to publish, without personal or confidential information.

Photos are shown only after review. Only photos of mold or affected areas are allowed, with no people or images of people, and only photos you have the right to share. The public copy of a photo carries no embedded camera data. A time or location stamp, if a photo has one, is kept privately for review.

Mold in America may decline, restrict, redact or remove any report, response or photo at its discretion, with or without prior notice. Publication and continued availability are not guaranteed.

Site information

Reports can be submitted without a public reporter name. We and our service providers collect technical information, including IP addresses, browser or device identifiers and website activity, for site operations, analytics, advertising, retargeting and audience building. This can include activity associated with submitting a report. We use Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and Google Analytics. Your content, technical records and information held by others may connect a report to you. We may preserve or disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

Cookies and similar technologies support site features, prevent abuse, measure activity and promote the site. Hosting, storage, mapping, analytics, advertising and payment providers process information for these purposes.

Your choices

Ad measurement on this device. Meta’s Pixel counts that a page was viewed and that a report was accepted, so we can invite visitors back and reach people like our reporters. It never receives what a report says or where it is.

Supported Global Privacy Control signals also turn it off; ordinary Do Not Track signals do not. These controls do not disable Google Analytics.

For six days after posting, you can add photos or delete your own report using the browser you posted from. That browser holds the only key to the report; another browser, or a cleared one, cannot do it, and neither can this site on your behalf without a request to the address below.
